These are corks made from natural corks of high porosity or with structural defects, which undergo a process to fill in the openings so as to improve their physical properties and appearance. The filling-in process consists of injecting the pores of the cork with a mixture of very fine cork grains and food grade adhesive substance.

The corks are then submitted to a further operation to eliminate excess residue and later undergo a special surface treatment process in order to prevent particles becoming unstuck.
This is a lower range type of cork, and thus a cheaper option.
